Sydney based Saxophonist Michael Griffin spends his time performing around Australia and Internationally and has performed at places such as Sydney Opera House, Sydney Entertainment Centre, Dizzy's Coca Cola (New York, USA), Smalls Jazz Club (New York, USA), Natural Museum of American History (Washington D.C, USA) and many other venues and Jazz Festivals. He has played with James Morrison, James Muller, Christian Sands (USA), Carl Allen (USA), Rodney Whittaker (USA), Reginald Thomas (USA) and many more.
He was a Semi-finalist at the 2013 Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition in Washington D.C. where he met Jazz Legends Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Roy Hargrove, Jimmy Heath, Branford Marsalis and others.
