Every Monday lunchtime, from 12.30-1.30pm, ukulele players and aspiring ukulele players and the merely curious gather at Smith’s to be given the good juice on how to play a one chord song, a two chord song, a three chord song and then, well goodness knows, but you can tap out at one or two chords and just sing along, gaze into space or whatever. Our glorious leader, Alison Procter of The Cashews fame, may only turn up bi-weekly, but it goeth on regardless, such is the hypnotic power of the ukulele epidemic that’s been sweeping the world these last hundred years or so. Come and get your ukulele crack on, it’s free, but you’ll never be the same again (transformative experience warning).
