Matthew Nicholls is a Canberra local musician. His studies at the James Morrison Academy of Music has provided him with a plethora of performance opportunities with world class musicians such as: Wycliffe Gordon, Kate Ceberano, Jeff Clayton, Sarah McKenzie, James Morrison, Carl Mackey, Mat Jodrell, Angela Davis, Olivia Chindamo, Gileno Santana and the like. In 2016 Matthew Nicholls won the James Morrison instrumental scholarship which gave him the opportunity to record an album at ABC studios in Sydney. The album was released on band camp in 2017 with a range of original music composed by Matthew.

Having also recently graduated from the James Morrison Academy of Music, Lachy Hamilton is fast becoming a well-known performer of the Australian music scene. Originally from Sydney, Lachy has shared the stage with musicians including Patti Austin, Jeff Clayton, Mat Jodrell, Troy Roberts, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and recorded on the aria-nominated album “James Morrison an his Academy Orchestra”. Tonight, he will play music from his debut album "Alchemy", recorded in December 2018. The album consists of swinging yet intricate songs inspired by Paolo Coelho's novel The Alchemist. The band will also feature Harry Morrison on Bass, Patrick Danao on Drums and Matt Harris on Piano.
