An afternoon boof-up of live acoustic music featuring Canberra's proudest of the sort: Kopasetic, Minh Ha and Guac.

Headlining are Canberra's newest troubadours: Kopasetic. Fresh onto the local music scene, Kopasetic have been turning heads with their rhythmically unpredictable music, coated with lyrics that shed light on themes like political realities, wayfaring catastrophes and social calamities. As a trio of classically trained musicians, Kopasetic have already been dubbed by venue owners as being one of the best acoustic acts to catch in the capital! A typical performance will feature mostly originals, with a roots reggae or ska cover in between.

Minh Ha is a solo artist who blends a concoction of sounds to create his raw blues and roots feel for his audience. His intricate use of finger picking on the acoustic and slide guitar, along with the percussive style, has people wanting more. With the added sounds of the didgeridoo, harmonica, vocals and stomp box, he has taken his music to a new level. Minh writes about his own experiences and can only explain his true thoughts through his songs.

'Guac' is the musical alias for Michael Misa, a Canberra musician with over ten years as a guitarist. He draws on influences from Indie to World Folk and Blues/Roots genres. With an emphasis on lyricism and instrumental proficiency, Michael has been shortlisted in various contests (including by the Australian Songwriters Association in 2017).
