New York big guns, saxophonist Joey Johnson and bassist Jakob Dreyer, reunite with New Zealand based drummer Mark Lockett to launch their new album ‘Any Last Requests.’

This stunning release is the result of a residency the trio had for several years at a popular NYC cafe where they performed five nights a week. While paying respect to the jazz tradition, the trio sound modern and fresh always searching for new ideas, pushing and expanding the musical landscape.

Johnson, a graduate of the famous William Patterson University and a mainstay on the NYC scene for more than 15 years, appears regularly at Bluenote, Smalls, Fat Cat and 55 Bar. Dreyer is a very in demand bassist, recently relocated to NYC from Hamburg where he has been studying with world reknowned bassist John Patitucci. Lockett resided and worked extensively as a musicain in NYC for nearly half a decade and has studied with Ari Hoenig and Jim Black.
