Shapeshifting folk-rock artist based on Awabakal land, Jhana Allan will be embarking on an interstate tour in October and November to promote her new single ‘You Got The Eyes’.

After the release of her predominantly indie-rock album ‘Fake Paradise’ in 2024, Allan’s new single ‘You Got The Eyes’  leans towards a laidback, groove-driven country feel, with mandolin and bass as the driving force. The song has extra significance as it was the first on which Allan started working with her mentor, Americana roots artist Rachel Baiman. The two singles were produced by Baiman in Nashville with a cast of stellar musicians.

Allan’s effortless and honeyed vocal style has been likened to Adrianne Lenker, Stella Donnelly, The Weather Station and Suzanne Vega.

Jhana Allan has supported Australian artists such as Frente, Fred Smith, Lucie Thorne and Isobel Knight. In 2023 she recorded her sophomore album ‘Fake Paradise’ in Nashville, produced by her mentor, Americana artist Rachel Baiman, with 5 time Grammy award winning engineer Sean Sullivan (Margo Price, Andrew Marlin, Molly Tuttle). In her former career as a violinist/fiddler she has played at Glastonbury Festival with The Woohoo Revue, and supported k.d. lang at Hamer Hall.
