This performance will feature the faculty from the Summer Jazz Clinics presented by the Jazz Music Institute held at the Australian National University. This is the first time that the Summer Jazz Clinics have been held in Canberra and we hope this becomes an annual event.

The workshops cater to musicians of all ages and musical ability. The faculty band is mainly made up of JMI’s Head of School Dan Quigley (trumpet) and course coordinator Paula Girvan (piano) plus some of Canberra’s finest musicians including Eric Ajaye (Bass), Mark Sutton (Drums), John Mackey (Saxophone), as well as ex Canberran Ben Hauptmann (Guitar). This will be an enjoyable night of music as these musicians collaborate after a week of intensive teaching.
