Hoot and Holler is a duo of songwriters and instrumentalists dedicated to honing their craft.  Guitarist Mark Kilianski and fiddler Amy Alvey are influenced by wordsmiths like Gillian Welch and Townes van Zandt, as well as authentic mountain musicians like Roscoe Holcomb and Ola Belle Reed.  In 2016, they lived out of a camper van and toured across the country.  Their enduring love of American folk music has based them in Asheville, North Carolina since spring 2017.
