We all know Hi New Low, featuring players from Fun Machine and Dub Captains + James Fahy, play unpredictable, melodious art rock/pop music.

Turns out the whole set works beautifully as a quiet, beautiful folk set.

So after the Phoenix on Friday night with Fun Machine, they're playing an acoustic show at Smith's!

James Fahy will join them, raring to go after months in and out of the studio working on his debut album.

Come have a cup of tea or start the evening with a Canberra chardonnay and enjoy the rare treat that is Hi New Low ...Fi.

This is definitely a family-friendly gig, so bring children/unsuspecting family members : )
