Hashemoto, one of Canberra’s most enigmatic and best loved bands, famed for dragging a piano to many an inconvenient location – mountaintops, back yards, parks... carparks – for acoustic gigs, have invited their friend James Fahy to join them at the last of their four monthly residencies.
James Fahy is a Melbourne-based but Canberran at heart musician, interviewer, and wikipediste. He is a superb singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist - a total triple threat. He has contributed to many interesting musical projects, including the art-rock sounds Hi New Low, filling in for Fun Machine, and following Joe Oppenheimer on hours-long pop improvisations. He's played festivals and venues up and down the East Coast, and busked countless street corners.
