Hashemoto, one of Canberra’s longest running (including extended Trouser Trouser period), most enigmatic and best loved bands, famed for dragging a piano to many an inconvenient location – mountaintops, back yards, parks... carparks – for acoustic gigs, have now decided, due to a clash with the Canb Jazz Fest inside, play the second of their four monthly residency gigs outside under the veranda at Smith’s, just in time for the advent of Canberra’s beloved windswept Autumnal chill.

No friends this time. Just Hashemoto, you and perhaps a denizen of the street banging on one of the other pianos.
