Todd Turner lives and works in Parramatta. He has won the Jean Cecily Drake-Brockman Poetry Prize and has been shortlisted for the Mary Gilmore and the Anne Elder awards. Robert Gray has called him “outstanding among the poets of his generation”. He is also a goldsmith. His second collection, Thorn (Puncher & Wattmann), was released last year.

Carmel Summers is a Canberra-based poet with an interest in a wide variety of forms. Her poetry, especially tanka, has been published in journals world wide. She has been shortlisted in the Blake Poetry Prize and her collaborative poetry book, The Last Day Before Snow (Malicorne Publications, 2016) was awarded the ACT Publishing Award in 2017.
