East Row Rabble delivers a slick mix of funk, ska, blues and soul with heavenly horn lines that will get your booty shaking and your feet shuffling. Addressing a mixture of world issues and daily curiosities, Ben Drysdale’s songs explore the many, varied, and often conflicting elements of any situation with honesty, hope, and a little cheekiness.
Timothy James Bowyer has been with East Row Rabble since before East Row Rabble was East Row Rabble. He began collaborating with Rabble front man Ben Drysdale in the Beth n Ben days and is the last original member of the Rabble horn section. But the fruit of his loins is too powerful and with another baby on the way Timmy has to step back from the band for a year or ten. So we’re throwing him a party!
This will be East Row Rabble’s first gig of 2019 and the only gig before Easter as we hit the rehearsal room to prepare some new tunes for our debut at the National Folk Festival. So get on down to Smith’s on Feb 16th from 7-9pm and lets send Timmy off in Style!

Coastal Roots Reggae groover MUFASSA drops the second single off his debut 'Follow Me' EP at this special gig. MUFASSA is releasing 'a song a month' from Feb-May, starting with 'All Right' a laid back old school reggae track with island vibes and smooth layered vocal harmonies.
Acknowledging the role music plays in our daily lives, the ability it has to connect people, spread positive messages and bridge gaps – 'All Right' pays respect to valuable lessons that Mufassa has learnt through his own life – not to value the dollar more than life experiences, to listen and learn before offering advice, and that its okay to feel good about yourself despite the negative web that is created through the commercial world.
