CSFF presents its annual LGBTQI+ screening followed by a filmmaker panel discussion.

The screening includes Big Johnny (which has won the prestigious Sue Blainey Award this year), a film about finding your voice Literally and figuratively.

There are 2 international films, Shell from the UK, a film about identity and family, very cinematic, set along the white cliffs of Dover and featuring 2 stand out acting performances from the leads. Collage, from Spain is a light hearted but cleverly written rom com set in a museum, again the lead performances are fabulous and make this film a joy to watch.

The National category films in this screening are varied in style and theme but all in their own way deliver thoughtful and beautiful stories  that will stay with you.  There is also an outstanding local film by an emerging Canberran filmmaker.
