Every now and then, good quality piano players sit down at the outdoor piano at Smith’s and bless us with some sweet, sweet music. Of course sometimes it’s drunken chopsticks, which we’re not sick of in the least, no not at all. But many times it’s good and we’ve taken to asking them if they’d like to come back sometime and play for an audience. Thus was born Classical Capers. Every so often on a Wednesday at 7pm, we put out an open invitation to classical musicians of all levels of ability to come and play their instrument of choice, to sing, form small ensembles, do whatever they please. Come on. A special guest will often play a half hour set at the end. Have a go mate.
