Jazz piano and the songwriters who pioneered it have been vastly influential to almost all music we hear today. Some favourite tunes composed by jazz pianists such as Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock will be performed by the talented Hugh Barrett on piano. Hugh Barrett is a highly accomplished Australian Jazz Pianist having been a member of Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra since 2006, in which he has performed with many acclaimed international artists such as Chris Potter, Maria Schneider and Florian Ross. A versatile musician, Hugh also recorded and toured nationally and internationally as part of popular contemporary group The Beautiful Girls.

Hugh will be accompanied by Elise Walsh of Bella Groove (vocals/flute), Phillip Dick (double bass) and Steve Fitzgerald (drums).
