Guitarist Carl Morgan was the 2014 winner of the National Jazz Awards held at Wangaratta Festival of Jazz. He was recently featured on Barney McAll's album 'Hearing the Blood' which won 3 Bell awards in 2018. 

He has performed with many Australian and International artists including Maria Schneider, Chris Potter, Alex Sipiagin, Bob Sheppard, Jim McNeely, Bob Mintzer, Charlie Watts, Barney McAll, Mike Nock, Kristin Berardi, Katie Noonan, James Muller, James Morrison, Scoredatura, Virgil Donati and the Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra.

This concert will feature Carl’s new and old compositions in the vein of those on his debut album Stone. Expect dazzling Guitar/Sax unisons, crunchy piano chords, high energy solos and explosive band interplay.
