“The Voice” finalist, Singer-Songwriter and Canberra's Pop Artist Of The Year (2013), Amber Nichols, is described as having the voice of an angel. Her luminous vocals combined with her delicate melodies are both uniquely haunting and soulfully uplifting. 
With influences ranging from the old jazz greats to today's pop sensations, her emotive tone and genuine love for creating beautiful music has shown Amber is on the rise as one of Australia’s great new talents. Amber will be rehearsing her show at Smith’s, open to the public. This is a great opportunity to see Amber in an intimate and casual setting.

Smith’s Alternative offers up their space on Monday nights to any local bands or performance groups for open rehearsals. Yes, that's right, your band or group of weird wacky performance artists or whatever, can come to Smith's after 9pm on a Monday night and jam the fuck out on stage with a full p.a. and an audience of me and any of your friends foolish, or enamoured of you, enough to attend. Plus occasional randoms and crazy people. Woo!
