What do you get when, on a night in May, you put together a magnificent grand piano, the evocative and beautiful atmosphere of the concert and performance lounge of Smith’s Alternative, and four of Canberra’s well-known jazz and blues piano players?  You get A Night In May, a special concert featuring Wayne “G for Jazz” Kelly, Ali Penney, John Black and Leo Joseph. 

Each will perform piano pieces that, while not necessarily chosen from their usual blues or jazz repertoires, will be specially chosen selections for the evening as befits having a beautiful grand piano on which to play them.
