North and Elsewhere
Hazel and Roanna Law were raised on folk music and family harmonies in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. When you're born into folk music, it stays with you. Now based in NSW/Canberra they are carrying on the folk storytelling tradition.
In 2025 North and Elsewhere were finalists in the Australian Folk Music Awards for Youth Artist of the Year and grand finalists in national live songwriting competition, 'The Songwriting Prize'. 2026 sees the release of their debut album 'Safe Harbour'. Their songs reflect nature, childhood and connection; exploring what it means to be human amidst the often uncomfortable realities of a changing world.
Recent gigs include St Albans Folk Festival, the Australian Celtic Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival, Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Newcastle and Hunter Valley folk club (supporting Fred Smith), Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk Club and more.
Inez Hargaden is an Irish singer-songwriter drawing on folk, pop and rock to create soulful and emotional stories.
