Freya Morgan is described as “acoustic soul”, sweet & soulful music is inspired by growing up listening to traditional Irish music. Many of her songs recall stories from her overseas aid work. Freya has a strong vocal style and a dynamic performance with great depth to all her song-stories.
Jane Sarah Cane performs quirky original journeys and self-reflections, but you’ll know the stories, rich with insight, great patter between songs and more than a few laugh out loud moments. Chillin’ are a warm and thoughtful duo of original songwriters with a smooth country music sound, great harmonies and plenty of ‘yeah, I know that kinda journey’ stories woven into magic live performance. There’s a genuine connection with an audience and a lot of gentle tongue in cheek humour that will keep you smiling.
Alice Cottee is a Canberra singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist performing across folk, jazz and punk. She has fronted No Hausfrau as Best ACT Country Artist, MusicACT. Dollface and punk-rock band Glitoris, winning Hard Rock Live Act of the Year at the National Live Music Awards. Her rich vocals and heartfelt songwriting have taken her to stages at Woodford Folk Festival, WOMADelaide and The National Folk Festival.
Simone Dawson and Rita Woolhouse. Simone was inspired by her Gaelic-speaking cousin, who believed in faeries, folklore, and all kinds of magic. She’s been writing meaningful stories and compelling songs since she was twelve years old. Along the way, she was fortunate to meet the wonderful cellist Rita, and together they have shared many musical adventures. Blending friendship, creativity, and a touch of enchantment, Rita and Simone have woven their musical journeys together through numerous projects and performances.
