THE DALMATIANS

The Dalmatians are here! Plugged in and barking mad, they are taking rock back to its folk future!  The five band members have extensive experience, performing throughout Australia and internationally in rock, stage, folk, and world festivals and music ensembles; composing for film, TV, dance and mixed media, as well as recording, mixing and production of music for themselves and other artists.

The Dalmatians lyrics centre on current social issues, often dripping with irony and suburban humour. The musical fun reflects a fresh take on several genres including pop, folk, ska and psychedelic rock. Their first single “It’s Only Money” was released in 2019. After gigs were halted by the pandemic, the follow up single, “Millionaire”, was released to rave reviews, swaying the audience with the rockier edge that The Dalmatians bring to the stage. Their latest single “Far Away Man” is epic and ethereal. Focusing on the journey of a war veteran, it was released on Anzac Day in 2022. To date, the video has received more than 50 Best Music Video and Short Film awards from film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Art Film Awards, and film festivals in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, Australia, parts of Asia, and even the Ukraine.
