Evan Buckley is lead singer of beloved local band, The Burley Griffin. Without a doubt one of Canberra’s finest songwriters, he has ear-wormed his way into the hearts of Canberra’s music lovers with his songs of heartbreak, existential musings and religious philosophising. Musically made of modest clay - simple triads, diatonic melodies – Evan’s songs meander and swell, then blister and sear, at the hands and lips of the collective band members as they paint aural brush strokes of rhythmic interplay and harmonic blends. Songs to dance or contemplate with, you’ll leave spiritually refreshed.

CJ Stranger is an Australian storytelling singer-songwriter (and session guitarist in his other life). He’ll draw you in with humorous comments on the absurdities of everyday life before making you feel like you’re the main character in an old folk-tale of woe.
