Hosted by J.C Inman, That Poetry Thing continues to bring international class poets to Monday nights. This week's featured artist is Omar Musa, launching his new book 'Millefiori'.Omar Musa Launches his latest book, Millefiori.
A purveyor of visceral and razor edged words, Omar is a Rapper and HipHop artist (Dead Center, 2014) an award winning Author (Here Comes The Dogs, 2014) and Poet who returns home (or rather, home-ish) to launch his third book of poetry, Millefiori, a collection of love poems and fierce raps.
“That Poetry Thing...” is an intimate event bringing world class poets to Monday nights.
The night features a performance and reading from Millefiori and an interview with Omar by host J C Inman. The night begins at 7pm with a short open mic.
