Salty-faced and Brisbane-based, indie surf-rock outfit Shag Rock have been making waves since being plucked out of obscurity (and high school) by ex-Powderfinger guitarist turned producer Ian Haug, and have since been spreading their summery surf-rock vibes up and down Australia’s east coast.

Still livin’ the dream, the Shag Rock boys are back on the road for their ‘Loosen Up’  tour this August. Since the release of their debut album 'Barefoot' in February, they’ve toured non-stop around the country in the van they call home (or more specifically, The Shag Wagon).

Working with Ian Haug (Powderfinger) and Airlock Studios, Shag Rock have had a big year after selling out their hometown headline at the Brightside in Brisbane, racking up thousands of views on their Shagazine web-isodes and more than a million streams on Spotify. The lads show no signs of slowing down with a few fire singles set to be released later in the year as they gear up for their first U.S tour this October.

It's all happening. Crowds are filling, beers are emptying. Come get around Shag Rock!

Also appearing, String Elephants.
