Join us for the Canberra launch party of Pigs Arse hosted by Matriarch with out of towners The Pingers and Small Ways. The first vinyl to roll off the Pigs Arse press - a compilation of Aussie bands - will be available for sale.

Matriarch, Canberra's grand dames of femme punk, will get the party started with their bone rattling tunes to get you dancing, or drinking or both.

Then The Pingers from the Snowy Mountains will crank it with DIY punk that's simple, energetic, catchy, and in the band’s own words: “like if Taylor Swift had a mohawk and did bags."

Finishing off the night is smallways, a high engergy, chaotic and confusing punk drum, and bass, two piece from Sydney. Strap yourself in for a unique and immersive set as Stevie and Teriece combine hip hop and punk rock beats with jarring and catchy bass riffs elevated with incredible vocals.
