Highly-regarded creative talent Milena Luna is an award winning singer-songwriter, poet, and author who lost her home, instruments, compositions and beloved parrots in the Mallacoota bushfires on New Year’s Eve 2019. Out of adversity, Milena has produced a poignant album, sharing her personal journey towards recovery, against the backdrop of trauma, subsequent loss, and ultimate recovery.
The album showcases Milena’s considerable songwriting talents creating a stirring and timely work. At its heart is the search for home, and never fading hope.
Classically-trained Milena is a guitarist of rare talent, releasing several CDs of her original music, and was awarded top ten finalist for her song ‘Mallacoota Time’ in the UK Songwriting contest, a judges commendation and placed semi-finalist in the UK international songwriting competition 2019.
