Local Gold showcases the best and latest original music acts in Canberra.

Hosted by lovable local rockstar, EWmma Dryden, the three part show opens with a proven emerging talent and progresses to a headline set from a higher profile established favourite. Most acts are local, but it’s pretty Canberra to welcome visitors too, right.

Local Gold is intimate, fun and entertaining, with an emphasis on authentic artistic expression in original contemporary songwriting. So, if you love hearing local talent, new and old, raw or polished, make this a recurring appointment in your calendar!

Anna Ransom, Heya Gosper and Dylan Elks

Anna Ransom doesn’t get out much, but when she does, she makes an impression. This bookish singer-songwriter harnesses her introspective bent and folk roots to craft songs as unique as the genre is old.

Heya Gosper is an alternative rock, pop-punk, noise, grunge singer songwriter. She's a non-binary trans woman and lots of her songs are about being trans and bisexual.

Dylan Elks is a music teacher by day and a musician by night with local Canberra folk band, Freelings. His songs are often humourous vignettes of ordinary life.
