Fast-rising Sydney singer Jack Colwell returns to Canberra for an intimate show to celebrate the release of his EP "When The World Explodes". Jack last visited Canberra in April as Sarah Blasko's special guest, performing a high-octane set with his full electric band. Tonight, Jack will be in acoustic mode with piano, violin, and guitar, reconfiguring his dramatic confessional songs specially for Smith's.

Joining him will be Canberra polymath Shoeb Ahmad performing a rare solo set. Shoeb is part of the internationally acclaimed ensemble Tangents (whose new album, released globally by Temporary Residence, has just been positively reviewed on Pitchfork). He also plays in Canberra punk outfit Agency. Shoeb will be previewing material from his forthcoming solo album.
