Inspired by flowers, and how they beautify the circle of life, Angelica will delve into a number of flamenco styles and guide you through the intense depths of the artform. Angelica will also share her knowledge of Spanish and Thai culture as she reflects on her identity and belonging in this world.
Angelica Casado has over 25 years of flamenco dance experience and has trained with Adriana Rodriguez of Los Carmonas, Tomas Dietz of The Flamenco Centre of Canberra and Andres Peña, Jerez. She has been an invited guest at Australia's finest Flamenco guitarist Paco Lara's showcases in Canberra and has performed in Opera Australia's production 'Carmen' as a flamenco dancer in 2011.
