DODO
DODO is a collaboration between Carl Morgan and Matilda Abraham, two former Canberra/ANU School of Music musicians now living in Berlin, Germany. Incorporating elements of jazz, funk and pop, they aim to find a middle ground between carefully crafted songs and modern jazz improvisation. For this performance they will enlist longtime compatriots Hugh Barrett on keyboards, and Perth drummer Ben Vanderwal. 

Matilda Abraham
Vocalist, songwriter and producer Matilda Abraham’s sound combines etherial vocals, warm synths and delay affected drum machine. Matilda was a 2016 participant in the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy. This opportunity saw her selected by Grammy award winning producer Chilly Gonzales to collaborate for a sold out show in Montreal, Canada.

Matilda’s music is characterised by a refined compositional concept and heavily layered arrangements. Her use of effects take the music deep into the realm of production where Matilda continues to cut her teeth on the full indie artist skill set. Matilda Abraham has self-released one album (New Balloon), two EPs (Away EP and Sexpectation EP) and one single (Baby Alien Jam Session). Also featuring Carl Morgan, Hugh Barrett and Ben Vanderwal.
