Every now and then, good quality piano players sit down at the outdoor piano at Smith’s and bless us with some sweet sweet music. Of course sometimes it’s drunken chopsticks, whcih we’re not sick of in the least, no not at all. But many times it’s good and I’ve taken to asking them if they’d like to come back sometime and play for an audience. Thus was born Classical Capers. Every so often on a Wednesday ay 7pm, we’ll be inviting a bunch of non-pop musicians to come tinkle the ivories or play any instrument of their choice, sing, form small ensembles, whatever they please.
