With the recent passing of beloved jazz icon Wayne Shorter, we can think of no more fitting gesture than to offer this performance in tribute to one of his greatest albums, Speak No Evil (Blue Note, 1966).The album includes enchanting and inspired Shorter compositions such as “Dance Cadaverous,” “Infant Eyes,” and “Witch Hunt,” and received universal critical acclaim, viewed as a manifesto of Wayne Shorter’s compositional excellence. The Campbell-Raupach Group will perform the magical Speak No Evil material with gratitude and recognition of Wayne Shorter’s huge influence and inspiration.
