With its combination of sci-fi & iconic music there are few films more befitting of live musical accompaniment than 2001: A Space Odyssey. A classic film that examines humanity's relationship to the passage of time, the universe and technology,Having been fascinated by this film since childhood, artist Tom Buckland has lovingly recreated and refilmed it using only a camera, the contents of his garage and a surplus of cardboard.
Tom Buckland will be joined by musician MarlÄ“né Radice for a live screening of the completed DIY lo-fi sci-fi film accompanied by an exciting live electronic soundtrack with performance elements.
